Prime example of a Greco L.P. that just defines the quality this manufacturer was achieving in the height of the “Lawsuit” era. Everything is just so right, from the period perfect bound headstock with inlay & cherry-burst finish ,down to the stamped serial number on the back of the headstock, just like the big G" were doing at the time
. And the same period when the band that made this look famous were at the height of their powers as well. The look ,the sound and the "fretless wonder" type playability of ANY Gibson I have seen from this period for about 1/4 of the price (without the back-breaking weight). Correct for era pancake body still weighs in at 4.18kg, so it feels like a real guitar.Very dark rosewood fingerboard.
Plenty of small scratches ,hardware aging and appropriate playing wear ,but, surprising little fret-wear. One chip at the bass of the heel, ask for a pic.
Comes with an appropriately aged no-name hardcase.
