Well, you don't gots to be no Sherlock Homes-Boy to know we favour the Telecaster type of instrument around here, and we kinda secretly dig the Explorer too, in a naughty kinda way. But of course, the tele sound wins hands down..So, this one is a box-ticker of a whole different type! It's from the era of Grande`Guitar Dumbness (1982!), but it doesn't have a locking trem & doesn't have active electronics. So. it's basically a Tele with a cool headstock 7 pitch for better sustain and a whole lot of spanky sparkly tone! Try finding neu-funk like this, the Corporate Design Police would never allow it, no focus on any specific market sector!

And dang good value for a J-made piece of special.
