Another Fender Japan "non Signature" model, this one being a tribute to Keith Richards "other" Telecaster, known as Sonny.
Keef specs as per the `52 version, brass bridge & neck humbucker with the black surround. Neck is also to correct `67 spec, maple cap on a maple neck. Tuners are factory Gotohs.
Seems to have had at least one pickup swap in it's lifetime, back to original pickups & wiring now. Humbucker has no make, serial # or other id on it.

This is an early C.I.J. version, from 1997-2000 era. Ash body means it weighs in at a solid 3.80kgs def no basswood here! Body is free of the major dings we see on so many instruments that have spent there lives in gigbags on Tokyo subways.
But, bear in mind, this is a 22-25 year old used instrument, so it is not in "new" or "as new" condition.
Fingerboard shows some signs of being played, but frets are in great shape, only 1 very minor low spot I can find.
